I personally feel the biggest thing which can happen to Villa this season is a season of togetherness, a squad all pulling in the right direction. If McCleish can achieve this and add new blood we will do better than 9th and we wont have a relegation battle either. Then we will build again from there.

No he has'nt signed yet, he's negotiating a pay off from City which we can do nothing about, but you already knew that.

You'd think we'd shy away from citeh players after our previous purchases. I like Given and he'd be a decent buy at a reasonable price but is he fit enough given his injury problems? Last thing we need is him out for months next season with only Guzan to fall back on.

that's what worries me. He's a very good 'keeper or was. You'd think citeh would have given him a bit of playing time if he's totally fit.

Will take him a few games to get back into it- got to hasn't it?

Glad we're looking at Given,No way would i spend big money on Foster, 3rd choice keeper at Man U and 2 relegations on his CV already! so overated.

Yeah, he had a cushy last season sat on the bench and earning about £6m.

Playing every week for us for £3m, i'd be happy with that aswell!! LOL :-)
