He's a good player. If it was up to me, I'd save the Downing money and persist with Jovanovic. But the club want youth and premier league experience which means the Serb is surplus and therefore a potential bargain for any club shrewd enough to take a chance on him.

I think downing will go and nzogbia would be a great signing,would have liked larsson on a free as his set piece delivery was excellent last season.

I wish Downing would go now for the 20 million . I dont think they will pay that but im pissed off with him now ..
