I think Beye will either sit it out for the remainder of his contract or we'll have to pay him to leave should somebody show an interest.

Think you're right unless we can persuade one of the sides coming up to take him off our hands for free just to get him off the wage bill.

Beye will probably want to leave anyway, even if he eventually stays he will not be in the first team plan. I would prefer to see Lichaj, Baker instead of him.

Warnock will probably be given a clean sheet, and it's up to him to be a regular again. Ireland is a great player, but If I was him I would leave for another club,

Just read something about Bendtner. I think he could fit well with Bent. If Heskey leaves we will need a big man like him.

Get Given already.. He is the best GK available.

Talkshit just mentioned that rangers have been in touch with Villa over the transfer of Cuellar.
Is this reported anywhere else or are TS making things up again ?

Seems genuine with quotes from Rangers.  No fee mentioned, though.

Thanks, it'll be a real shame to see CC go. Whatever price he goes for (I suspect it won't be huge money), we won't find as good a replacement for the same money.

With a new manager on board I would've thought he'd wanna stick around. Also Rangers could only afford peanuts.

Maybe a deal involving their keeper who I believe is close to the end of his contract?

"I've said that Allan [McGregor] is not for sale. We have not been approached by anybody about him."  From the above Birmingham Mail article.

Doesn't mean it won't happen, but it does sound like they would be unwilling sellers.

I think it will be Rob Green. I also think that McLeish will get Watson to come over from the shit and he'll help Green to resurrect his career. Green needs a fresh start just like Paul Robinson, and he'll cost us 3 or 4 mil I'd imagine.

I reckon Cuellar will go for £4m, which is about what McGregor would cost.

No reason why they couldn't do a swap deal.

beye wont want to leave

He has 1 year left on a 42k per week contract so he is quite content to carry on

Ipswich wanted him in January but he said no thanks I would rather sit on my arse here

Ireland's a great player ... in his mind. When he wants to, he can be inspired. All too infrequently. Thinki he's blown it at B6.
Bendtner ... so far up his own orifice. Why do we need a big man like him?
Watch out for Andreas Weimann next season.
Agree with you about Lichaj and Baker, though.
I think Given is a spent force.

Beye should be made to clean the bogs the useless prick. It's scandalous.
Millions for doing shag all and nobody even had to vote for him.

If Cuellar isn't going to be replaced with equal quality like Dann or Johnson it's pointless selling him.

I really like Cuellar, I want to see him playing again. We missed him last season.
