Upson can't jump, his back and knees are shot to bits.

Green is  a steady keeper when he is confident and goes come for things, ditto Robinson, so not an issue with either really. Most keepers outside the top 3-4 clubs always have a rick in them, but Friedel though steady has let things in this season I could see a young man stopping.

I like Ba. Diame is a great shout, as would be Rodellega and N'Zogbia from Wigan. All 3 would improve us following Young going IMO.

Collison was highly rated when he burst onto the scene.  I think he has been injured for most of the season so he has disappeared from the spotlight. He might be a cheap, low risk gamble.

What does everyone think of Lewis McGugan?  I don't think forest would be coming up, do you think he is over his injuries and would be decent in the PL?

I like Robert Green, up until that awful world cup episode he had always looked the part to me. Cant say I'd be that bothered about any of the rest of them, Parker would have been great 2 years ago but I think all he would do now is cost a lot of money and hold back the likes of Gardner and Bannan

I think Green is a decent keeper & with a better defence (our new one next season) I think he'll pick up some confidence & could be a good keeper for us. If he signed that was.

Robert Green !!!!
Fuck me - It'll be like have calamity James or Carson back in goal, always waiting for the next major fuck up.

I'm not saying Carson was a great keeper at all but I cant honestly remember one "major fuck-up" he made in a Villa shirt.

David James, well yes there was one from him wasn't there !!

Robert Gren makes far too many mistakes for my liking. Tha would be better recognised if he'd played for a bigger side

Watched him last night and he's got a decent shot on him, I'm sure i heard the comemntator say that he was Forest' top scorer? Don't really know a great deal about him but he's the type of player that could add to the squad, be on smallish wages and wouldn't decrease in value.

is Rob Green better than Scott Carson ? Never like Scott as he doesn't need to be a natural in goalkeeper.

There was nothing major from Carson in his season with us, but you never really had a lot of confidence in him coming for crosses or being commanding in the box. And don't get me started on anything from long range. In fact, they could all have saved us a few minutes by awarding goals to the opposition automatically anytime they had a direct free kick 25 yards and in.

I like Rob Green. He's done well since his World Cup incident, as has Paul Robinson since his England troubles. I'd take either as I imagine they've both learnt a lot and matured. They are both the right age for a keeper coming into what should be their best years.

De Vries looks a good keeper for Swansea. Very confident coming off his line and a good 'talker'.

Used to play for Dunfermline. Wasn't bad then and the team he was in was pretty shocking.
