We've got a lot of players to get in this summer and some are going to have to be Bosmans. Which will hopefully leave funds available for other targets.

We could arguably get Green and Westwood for nowt and have a reasonable goalie dept.

for very little fee, i think those two would be fantastic...

two very good goalkeepers, and one with the potential to be an excellent number 1 in a few years when green is finished...

westwood would offer cover and competition in the short term too...

i like green... he does make mistake, but name me a keeper in world football that doesnt...

he has however, kept west ham in games this season even with their awful defence...

Having watched Green and Upson in the first game of the season it was like he and Upson had never met before

Got a little bit of inside information, with the emphasis on little, on the Rob Green situation.

As I think I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, his ex works in our London office and having seen the headline today, I emailed it to her and asked if there was any truth in it. She has told me "there is more truth than fiction".

Only being a messenger here, so no idea if he will come or not.

Seen others disagreeing - but I'd love us to sign Green and Upson. I'd also chase Parker, Noble and Ba. We have a big rebuilding ahead and picking up some cheap options from relegated teams is a must when so many talented players will be available. Blackpool have no one I'd want. Wigan have Diame, who I think could be useful.

I said I'd chase 'em. Parker is going elsewhere. If we did get Parker, I wouldn't get Noble. Going off the fact that we have a small squad and we may well be losing a lot of players I'd be looking at options to fill the squad as well as making high profile signings. Diame would be a good option if we lost NRC, as he'd bring a similar style and also be happy to be on the bench.

Whatever you say about Green and Upson - they're quality players and would definitely add to our squad.

My bro is a West Ham fan,so he see's more of them,goes on their websites,and he thinks Noble is over rated,we needed Parker when we lost Milner last summer,he's the wrong side of 30,and would cost alot.

I would definitely take Green on a free, but I would expect Upson to command big wages wherever he ends up and to be honest I don't really rate him. I would love us to sign Parker, but again he would command big wages and we would get no return on our investment at his age. Ba looks like he has got the ability to be something special to me. He has the ability to produce something from nothing and I would love us to sign him as an alternative/partner/back up to Bent. Wigan have a few good ball players I wouldn't mind us signing and they would probably come with relatively small wages.

Parker will be in demand.

Rob Green is not a goal keeper I like at all, he does not breathe confidence into a defence at all.

Upson is absolutely shite, as shown every single week.

From West Ham, Green, Ba and Parker (especially) are the real upper tier players. Noble is awful and Upson has had his day.
