Danny Brown's just posted on facebook: Downing to Liverpool for £17m.
£8m + Jimmy Milner for Ashley Young?

An "ex" hooli. Not sure why he'd have anymore of an insight than us though. Maybe he's friends with Ged.

£8m and Milner for Ashley Young?

That'd value Ashley at £34m.

some journo just tweeted that there had been developments with NRC too.  ...and then said he would be off line for a while.

NRC has been off line with his passes for 5 seasons!

NRC - On saturday he must have been wearing Petrovs boots, I have never seen a ball passed sideways so often!!

I am 47 and I could do what NRC did on Saturday!

With Petrov's boots on he'd have passed to a Villa player at least once.

NRC did very well on Saturday.

Well, I say "very well", but I mean in comparison to the rest of the witless buffoons in the team.

Agreed. He was one of the better players. At least he showed a bit of fight.

From the starting team on Saturday I hope only Walker, Downing, Young and Bent are in the team on the starting day next year. I don't expect Walker or Young to be here, so I'd only have two from that XI.
