Seriously though, if the sum total of our ambition is to sign 30 year old has-beens then I won't be going down as much next year that's for sure. Luckily, I think it's bollocks so it's nothing to get worked up about.

I'd also say that the form we had out of Warnock for the first 6 months would show he is better than Risse. Just a shame he's lost it since then.

Got a far superior record than young who i do rate. scores a fair few more than warnock, certainly hasn't got warnock's atitude problem. reminds me of staunton a bit. I don't really understand why he's so bad given his record and our current options, but there you go.......

Although, he's 30 (Luke Young is 31 isn't he?), averages about 1 goal in 10 (not bad for a full back), half decent going forward...I can think of a lot worse choices to be fair for £3 million.

I was told last weekend the Kieren Westwood was on the verge of signing for us by a Cov fan. Personally I don't think he's that great.

By a couple of years. He was terrible in his last season at Liverpool.

That's a very good point which is mostly overlooked now.

His fall from grace seemed to coincide with being rushed back from injury. Thereafter he was a disaster in progress.
