Hoilett to me is what Carroll is to Mazrim. Since I first saw him I rated him, really direct player, commits defenders.

Still, he's nowhere near Villa quality yet.

Blackburn fans have been raving about Hoilet for a while now. A youth level he was apparently class and is now starting to get s run of games.

If he progresses as Blackburn hope he'd be an ideal replacement.

I like Ash, I really want him to stay, he's been my favourite player since he joined but if he wants to go we better get the best deal we can.

Getting Milner back would be the best.

Henderson looked decent in the first half of the season but has gone off the boil a bit recently, pretty much like most of his teammates in that regard.

He's one to watch, but he's been linked to the likes of Chelsea and Man U. I don't think Sunderland would sell to us after the fallout from the Bent deal either.

Chances are the players we could most realistically look to target might be from clubs who go down or some of the better players in the Championship, not necessarily a problem if the individual players are good enough.

The likes of Gilks, Adam, the oft mentioned Westwood, Long, Doyle, Parker or possibly Noble could all offer us something, at the very least from a squad point of view. If GH is still here, there might also be more deals like the Makoun one.
