Is the price right? Aston Villa quoted £4.8m price-tag for USA international Micheal Bradley

Borussia Monchengladbach have quoted Aston Villa £4.8million for their midfielder Michael Bradley.

Fucking hell, no.

Look elsewhere.

Take the "m" away and I would be happy to pay that price

Bradley hasn't looked up to much so far, but we can't really judge him till the end of the season.

By the way, Eastie, Robinson didn't sign for us because he thinks O' Leary is a wanker. That's why he chose Spurs.

He looks like he could do with a loan spell in the Championship to me.  Somewhere like Leeds perhaps.

I think you're all being a bit harsh writing Bradley off after one game. I remember Nigel Callaghan having a great debut and he turned out to be shite. Debuts don't necessarily mean much.

Give him a chance FFS.  Why do ppl continue to criticise our own players on here?

Remember the flak Walker got when he signed on loan.  Its ridiculous.

If we can get the form Bradley showed in the world cup then sign him- too soon to say no yet. Cheltenham, I read o learys words about Robinson saying the club wouldn't match his wages, wasn't aware of Robinson hating dol but thanks for letting me know, my friend.

David O'Leary, Leeds manager from the day he replaced George Graham in 1998 to the day he was sacked by Peter Ridsdale in 2002.
O'Leary is furious with Ridsdale's suggestion that he lost the dressing room. "I left Leeds in a good situation," he said.
"In his book, Peter says I lost the dressing room. There were players who were unhappy but they knew their days were numbered under me.
"Peter highlighted a problem with Paul Robinson and he was wrong to do that.
"Since I left Leeds I have been to Robbo's wedding and stayed as a guest at his house in London. My daughter, Ciara, has been a babysitter for them.
"When I was at Villa and Paul was still at Leeds, he wanted to sign for me there. It was only because Doug Ellis wouldn't come up with the money that the deal fell through

Especially when playing a very good side at home with the reserves.

Bradley needs time, as anyone else does. He's an international player with a good reputation, so some of the comments are ludicrously jumping the gun.

So after 1 full match everyone is writing Bradley off already? What a joke.

Bradley may very well come good in time.  However, with 7 league games left and us in a precarious league position, we can't afford the luxury of him finding his feet at the moment.  I'm suprised that people are happy for Bannan to go out on loan, a player who has played very well at times this season, and yet are happy to give Bradley time to come to terms with the rigours of the Premier League.

It's not about finding his feet though, as such. But people seem to have written him off already. It was 1 bad game, that is all. Every player has had them this season.

Of course it is about him being ready for the Premier League.  We have seven games left to retain our Premier League status, something we've never before failed to do.  Chucking somebody in who has less Premier League experience than most of our homegrown young players seems a bit silly to me, especially after his debut was so rubbish.  I'm not suggesting that we ditch him, or even that we don't buy him if he becomes available, but if Blues get a result against Everton, we'll be two points ahead of the drop zone, and will need to eke out every single point.  We can't afford any passengers.

Nine league games.
