Anyone know if the pleasure beach is open this weekend? I know it would be nicer to visit Blackpool in September but I'm hoping that is won't be a ghost town with all the attractions closed?

Welcome Nuneaton av and thanks for the info.

A tough one to predict but I'm certain there will be goals.

We should win but probably won't (we may go into a lead but won't hold it) - so I think a score draw is the most likely outcome.

Not sure if its been mentioned but we have conceded the most amount of goals from corners in the Premier League this season. Blackpool have scored the most. Both 11.

Great not sure what you guys think but for me Friedal has been at fault for most of our corners he just doesnt command the box well enough

Agreed.  He tends to come off his line at the worst possible time and rarely makes it ahead of the attacker to the ball.

Welcome Nuneaton. I am going to Blackpool in june for my birthday so might have a look at that. Friedel has made plenty of punches out of the box. Its up to the centre half`s to clear from corners most of the time. We have got to get the ball to Bent more, with his conversion rate we will get goals. But we have to up the service. Against Fulham there were limited chances ...........

No reason why we shouldn't score 2 or 3 goals with that dreadful ex-Dog Shit keeper they have.

It's our defence that's the problem.

Just read a Holloway interview in their local Blackpool rag - he's going to welcome Houllier and Villa with open arms.

He bears us no grudge, he reckons.

can't be arsed to post the full story or paste the link.

Not plugging anything Dave, honestly.Came across it myself and thought it might be useful to a lot of Villa fans.
If it was anything to do with me,i'd splash it on loads of forums.
Anyway,sorry if I offended.

I would like to see Heskey up front with Bent. 4-2 to Villa with Bent continuing his fine start
