Irani.......a bloke from Bolton who supports Ure at football, then Wigan at RL, and today says if Spuds move to the Olympic stadium he would get 4 season tickets......the mans a c@@@.

Goldstein, i have to turn him off, never heard a bloke who is so up himself.

Gough.......disappointed in him tbh, great cricketer, a bit desperate to be a "radio star".

Hawksbee and Jacobs....brilliant.Jacobs is brilliantly pessimistic,a breakdown on national radio.Best show on radio by an absolute mile.

Was with you all the way until you got to Hawksbee and Jacobs. I can tolerate Jacobs but Hawksbee is grade A twat. In fact, Hawksbee strikes me as a stereotypical cockney in that he thinks he's funny, and tries very hard to be funny but never is.

If you listen to their show you'll find that they spend most of the time talking about what's coming up next and asking listeners to phone in on various inane topics to cover for the fact that there's very little in the way of content.

Still, each to their own. There are a few presenters I like: Danny Kelly, Collymore, Parry, Graham, Townsend, (when he was on) and Danter (even though he's a nose.)

Of course it's all a matter of taste, but to me Paul Hawksbee is the nearest you'll get to a genuine football fan on Talksport. He also has a fine pedigree when it comes to writing having scripted for the Two Ronnies, Frankie Howard and TV Burp. Impressive stuff when you consider his colleagues, some of whom would struggle to write their own name.

Ten pages in and no one's mentioned that Andy's Gray's biggest crime is that he fucked off from The Greatest Football Club in the world a staggering three times!

He's a grade AAA c**t and yet still has devotees amongst our masses.

As for hawksbee and Jacobs, well one of them the most sycophantic suck up I've ever had the pleasure of turning off my radio. They make my fuckin blood boil grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

A friend of a friend was an apprentice at Villa when Gray was there and has a story  of when before training Gray came into the dressing room after spending the night rogering some floosy. He then proceeded to wipe around his cheesy knob and rub his foul smelling fingers all over the young lads nose and mouth. What a lovely man

I'm not really interested in his antics off the pitch. For around 2 years he was the best and bravest centre forward I have ever seen in a Villa shirt - he was often carrying injuries aswell. I consider myself fortunate to have seen him - particularly 76/77.

His sale, along with John Gidman, arguably enabled Ron Saunders to build the best post war side we've ever had. So his Villa legacy cuts both ways in my mind.

Talksport know that people will tune in to listen to these 2 so not that much of a surprise.
The only pair on that station worth listening to is Hawksbee and Jacobs, they don't take themselves to seriously and just have a larf. The rest think they are some sort of oracles of footy. Irani is a thick as shit though and hasn't got a clue what to say next. In summary Talksport =  90% shite.

I find Gough worse than Irani I have to say, he is possibly the thickest sports presenter I have ever heard, and that is being kind.

Irani is a witless baboon, but listening to Gough struggling with the basics of the English language is excruciating.

He seems to struggle with knowing when to use "which", "when", "what" and "who"

Every time I hear him say "a player what'll score them goals", I wince.

BROADCASTER Mike Parry has revealed he quit his job with TalkSport just days before two disgraced Sky Sports presenters were given his daily radio slot.

Andy Gray and Richard Keys have been signed to present the flagship daytime show on the radio station.

From next Monday they will fill the 10am to 1pm slot occupied until last week by Mr Parry, who lives in Gosport.

But the former News columnist, a life-long Everton fan, said he could not think of anyone better than ‘my old mate and Everton centre forward’ Gray to fill his shoes.

Mr Parry said: ‘Andy gets my blessing. He’s one of my footballing heroes and I’m delighted he’s going to be doing the job that I can no longer do.’

Mr Parry said he quit the station last Thursday. ‘It was over a contractual dispute which has been dragging on since last summer after the World Cup,’ he said.

‘I’ve had lots of job offers which I’m considering. I’d be mad to quit a job like that and not have something else in the pipeline wouldn’t I?’ he added.

TalkSport moved for Gray and Keys two weeks after they were engulfed in a sexism storm which began after they made disparaging off-air comments about a female referee’s assistant.

think i've mentioned this before but about 10 years ago i got talking to a bloke in a pub who while watching sky on the telly let loose a stream of abuse when Gray appeared. Turned out he was married to Andy Gray's ex-wife

The tales his regaled me with of Gray's behavour would keep the NOTW going for a year. I think its a miracle he lasted this long before getting the push.

I used to love Danny Kelly when he worked with Danny Baker, and still quite like him now, but now he's running shows himself, it lets him indulge in his biggest failing - his tendency to talk over people the instant he thinks up a funny quip.

Agree about the talking over bit, he is good on a Friday with Stuart Robson who is probably the best of the "old pros" so to speak

Baker and kelly upfront was proably the funniest thing i have heard on the radio.

They had a subject once that was "what did you or your dad make in yr clubs colours"

They had a bloke ring up from Dundee whose dad made him a plywood bowtie in the clubs, Baker and kelly pissed themselves and asked how he managed to wear it and the bloke said "my dad attached it to my neck with a leather strap but that used to affect my breathing so he then nailed it to a broom handle"

I nearly crashed the car
