Atleast if he's on radio 'Keysey' won't have to wax his hands.

The first show should be interesting to listen to, I wonder if they will go for the shock jock reputation or whether they will be reserved!

Two more reasons to avoid TalkSport.

Weren't/aren't they another branch of the Murdoch empire?

More non-radio personalities parachuted in. Could be a good listen if it goes pear shaped.

Bad news is that Irani, Goldstein, Gough and Cundy are still employed. Ye gods!

I find Gough worse than Irani I have to say, he is possibly the thickest sports presenter I have ever heard, and that is being kind.

I'd rather listen to someone boiling a dog.

Irani.......a bloke from Bolton who supports Ure at football, then Wigan at RL, and today says if Spuds move to the Olympic stadium he would get 4 season tickets......the mans a c@@@.

Goldstein, i have to turn him off, never heard a bloke who is so up himself.

Gough.......disappointed in him tbh, great cricketer, a bit desperate to be a "radio star".

Hawksbee and Jacobs....brilliant.Jacobs is brilliantly pessimistic,a breakdown on national radio.Best show on radio by an absolute mile.

According to Adrian Durham show (which I do enjoy)  Mike Parry has left the station for pastures new.

Gutted that Porky has left, was hoping he'd be moved to replace the tool Irani on the breakfast show. Can't see him turning up anywhere else.

Mike Parry - a man of high principals, unlike pricks like Durham & Co who suddenly have climbed down off their high horse! Mike will return in another media format to share his wisdom with the masses!

I really don't like Talkshit but I do think Danny Kelly is a decent presenter.  I also like SVC.

Was with you all the way until you got to Hawksbee and Jacobs. I can tolerate Jacobs but Hawksbee is grade A twat. In fact, Hawksbee strikes me as a stereotypical cockney in that he thinks he's funny, and tries very hard to be funny but never is.

If you listen to their show you'll find that they spend most of the time talking about what's coming up next and asking listeners to phone in on various inane topics to cover for the fact that there's very little in the way of content.

Still, each to their own. There are a few presenters I like: Danny Kelly, Collymore, Parry, Graham, Townsend, (when he was on) and Danter (even though he's a nose.)

Think you're being harsh on Hawksbee. He has to rein in Jacobs alot when he goes off on his paranoid rants, and he's pretty quick witted,i think apart from Baker and Kelly,he's the funniest football presenter around.

Whilst agreeing with the general perception, I'll defend him on that one.  There's no RL club in Bolton and consequently I know a few Boltonians who follow Wigan RL.  Indeed, many people in the west of the borough - Westhoughton, Blackrod, parts of Horwich - traditionally have closer ties with Wigan than Bolton.  The other RL club that has a following in the town is Leigh, which incidentally is where Irani was born.
