They are doing ok but I fancy a win today. Unfortunately, I shall be spending most of the day at work catching up on stuff I haven't done for a couple of weeks so won't be at the game.

Presumably, absence of Villa game on p2p site and telecast details on FA Cup site indicates the game won't be televised and thus streamed.

Is that right?

ITV have the rights so it'll be a bloke in the upper witton filming it with a Nokia N95 for their 'highlights' package

Is there any particular reason for the game to be at 1pm? I had no idea!

Full-back Kyle Walker is set to make his home debut against Rovers clash after recovering from a back problem, while Ciaran Clark and Fabian Delph are also back from injury.

The manager has decided to rest Richard Dunne while Stephen Ireland [knee], Chris Herd [calf] and Luke Young [knee] will all miss the game through injury.

Jean II Makoun [thigh] is also an injury doubt with a thigh problem sustained against Wigan.

On that basis, I think I would play:

Friedel - Walker, Cuellar, Collins, Clark - NRC, Makoun / Delph / Bannan - Albrighton, Delfouneso, Agbonlahor - Heskey

They need to give any Villa fans intent of causing trouble a couple of extra hours drinking time before squaring up to the Blues/Cov fans in town

Has anyone said "it must be Blackburn's turn now"? Well hope not and they have been winning the League games against us  whilst we have had the cup wins in the last two seasons.

So they can have  the League game again in a couple of weeks time!

and what's your reason for not going to Villa Park?

(clicks on google to locate Sydney-quickly discovers it's not in Brum)

I'd rather we win both.

The team's in:

Friedel: Walker, Cuellar, Clark, Baker: Pires, Reo-Coker, Bannan, Agbonlahor: Heskey, Delfouneso

Probably about right, all things considered. Except for Pires, of course.
