Blown totally out of proportion

Sky wont sack them two, they are their crown jewels of football

Well Keys is a cock, and Gray resembles a scrotum so you may have a point.

Suspect certain people at Sky will be glad for the news developing in Moscow if only because it takes the focus off them.

Having said that, I just turned on Sky News to see what they were up to and found Jeff Winter stood outside Molineux discussing the football story before returning to the studio to an update on the explosion at Moscow airport and both stories covered on the scrolling yellow ticker at the bottom of the screen. So that shows cynical old me then, doesn't it?

This is political correctness gone mad!

Hurrah! It took a long time but we got there eventually.

This is political correctness gone mad! They should have knon better but this level of outrage is ridiculous.

Would two female presenters be treated the same way if the roles were reversed? I'm sure the Loose Women panel would have been sacked long ago if that were the case (not that I watch it mind).
I refer you to my earlier point: Loose Women make general comments about men in the stereotypical "men are from Mars, women are from Venus" train of thought.

Gray and Keys were specifically questioning the competence of someone who had gone through all the necessary training and qualifications to be considered and treated as an equal and a professional. Their sex is therefore irrelevant.

Oh and if they felt there wasn't anything wrong with their train of thought, why would they not suggest it on camera?

The thing I never understand is that pundits, of all ilks, will happily slaughter an official for getting a decision wrong, but in nearly every game I watch the commentator makes mistakes - identifies the wrong player, calls decisions as they see it live, only to be proven wrong later by replays. Motty is the one that boils my piss most about this, as he's absolutely scathing of officials making mistakes - with a justification that they're professionals, paid to do a job... is there some Freudian slip there that commentators are not really professional?
On the actual topic, don't think they'll get sacked over it - but that's maybe another hint at the existing lack of professionalism of the commentators

edited a FEW spelling mistakes - even with a chell specker!!

The danish "Tips" system (have official betting on all danish sports, and is owned by the public) has for years had commercials ."There are so many things that women don't understand". Most of them built with a women in the kitchen doing dishes or like, hearing the commentator, and imagining what he means.

Playing with a libero:

Giving a goal away

The defence digs in

Tour De France joke:

Naughty Injury (translated as Injury=skade=name of the bird in danish)

Couldn't find my favorite, where they say the keeper moves to early...and you see the keeper leave the goal before penalty is taken  ;D

I listened to the clip properly a second and third time. It undoubtedly betrays a sinister undercurrent, especially towards the end.

And if they'd said Irish linesmen are too thick to understand the offside rule?

They would be right :)

I've deleted my original post, I hold my hands up I was wrong. I listened to the clip again.

Fair play to you Irish Villain.

From what I understand, Keys and Gray are close to being untouchable. Maybe if you get too used to the sound of your own voice, you assume that everything you say is right.

They should be turned into a human centipede with Clive Tyldesley in the middle.
