sky reporting carew has passed medical and agreed terms on loan at stoke until end of season.

Doesn't a squad of 25 have be registered on jan 31st ? If so maybe bent could be given the number 10 shirt at that time, although I suppose that would be harsh on anyone who has bought a bent shirt with 39 on it.

Good luck to him. I'm glad he's joined them over Blues or Baggies. I guess we've seen the last of him in a Villa shirt, which I suppose is a good thing the way he's been playing recently. I hope he comes back to Villa park with somebody at some point though, he deserves a clap for his contributions over the last three and a bit years.

Considering he was a swap for Baros he did amazing. Always remember him destroying the Blues

He was finished for us the afternoon he blasted that penalty out of the ground at Newcastle! Been the shadow of the player he was for us.
