And to think yesterday was supposed to have been the most depressing day of the year.

and it was for the National press media who had buried us as also rans after O'Neill left and mis-informed  one in one out crap they peddled for  months.

I hope it's all done and dusted today. Yesterday for more news I actually listened to Talk Sport radio for a couple of hours.

I feel soiled.

Me too.  What a tawdry little station that is.  I get a crap reception over here as well, so it started to give me a headache.

It was still tuned into that this morning and Alan 'Oooh look at me I'm a shock Jock' Brazil was on. What a fuffing coot that bloke is. Cheap, nasty, horrible shits. Its like local radio gone bad.

I thought they were going to rename it TalkSpurs?

Can't say I noticed any bias... In breaking news, riots in Tunisia, lets go over to Harry Redknapp with his opinion.

I can understand most of the media being annoyed at this - smashing our transfer record (hopefully) wasn't in the script, we're a crisis club in disarray and even Blackpool's manager has been piling in recently to rubbish the club, its traditions, and the manager.

And now this. A lot of people must be awfully upset.

As for Yorke... arguably the most technically gifted player I've seen in a Villa shirt.

he aint gonna come,  i can feel it...paper talk is gonna fuck it all up :-(

Just when I was getting excited you go and drop that bombshell.

Christ almighty man, have some faith.  Or at least wait until there is a scrap of evidence this won't go through before you start being the prophet of doom.
Never mind him, he's just afraid that he might have to give Houllier some credit.

Am I the only person who looks at the title of this thread and thinks of Jeremy Beadle?

I had it tuned in this morning on my weekly drive into London office - I was actually shouting at the radio on my own in the car listening to Alan "the beat us in 1981" Brazil - saying why whould DB want to leave Sunderland in 6th to join a club that are fighting relegation I mean they are only just above Wigan ...

Maybe because we finished 6th the last 3 seasons and have a rich heritage and ....oh stop it I am off again !

He was on y-day in S-land saying it may not go through and trying to say other clubs would come in for him. Also the bloke that 'revealed' Grant would be sacked after the Arsenal match and MON would replace him, 'my sources tell me...'  Idiot.

In court yesterday I was sat next to the PA reporters, who work in shifts on a big case. Mike Parry used to be the boss of PA and was described as `a deeply scary person to work for'. And this from a couple of grizzled old hacks. He liked to sack people at the drop of a hat.

If true I hope Sky sack the t**t and West Ham sue him
