This is no Bullsh-t,Darren Bent in Bupa Little Aston with villa pysio and agent at about 5pm  ;D

Go away spammer.

Please dont question Mattylad. Its the hospital Villa use. My son recently had an operation there and down the corridor in another room Mark Albrighton was recovering from his appenicitis operation. I have every confidence in Mattylad and his posts and NO reason to disbelieve him.

It seems like Bent had a preliminary scan at Bupa Little Aston at 6.40pm.

Where's that come from?

Collymore,  'dont put all your eggs in one basket, use the same amount of money to buy maybe 3 players not just one'

we have been doing that stan for the last 10 years or more, thats why we got a clogged up dressing room on massive wages

And that's exactly spot on...buy Bent for 18 million, proven goalscorer for £60k a week. Or get 3 Robbie Keanes for £6 million each for a total of £120k a week?
Absolute no brainer...

Good that he's taking his obligations to his employer seriously at last.

Over at VT they seem to think its a lot further forward with a medical already taken place.

We've never really pushed the boat out for a striker - the big signings we've made have tended to be players that were not successful at a bigger club e.g. Saunders, Collymore.  Bent is yet to approach his peak, will see Villa as a step up and will be hungry to get in the England squad.  It would be a fantastic signing, as good a striker as we could get and 'oven ready' for the Premier League.  Regardless if in the long run it comes off or not, hats of to Randy for really going for it.  It has smashed the negativity that was around already.

Liverpool and Chelsea could threaten to hijack Aston Villa’s £18m move for Sunderland striker Darren Bent.

Bent, who handed in a transfer request at the Stadium of Light earlier today, is thought to be close to signing for Villa but would welcome interest from Chelsea and Liverpool.

The striker is reportedly in talks to complete a £70k a week contract negotiation with Aston Villa but sources suggest that he would favour a move to Kenny Dalgish’s Liverpool or Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea.

A potential stumbling block for Liverpool could be the price tag with Sunderland wanting offers in advance of £18m.

It was posted on VT and seems to have been backed up by Matt Kendrick
