collymore is talking so much shit and is sounding like a thick twat

I like Collymore, i'm listening now and i can see what he's trying to say. He wants to see us bring in others as well as Bent and i can understand that and he has a point. Charlie Adam and a left back and it will have been a good window.

havent we already brought in two and looking for more...  He dont like Bent  and he loves MON, he keeps contradicting himself..

Bent may not be able to trap a bag of cement but he knows where the back of the net is. He's what we need now. The only issue will be giving him the right service.

I've said, I think he's improved massively. Maybe the move to Sunderland has helped, bit of humility away from the limelight at one of those clubs that gets a bit unfairly ignored by the London/Lancs media mafia. Anyway, his movement and link-up play seems much better these days.

Who the fuck is the idiot fan on BBC saying we shouldn't get bent and should get kenny miller instead- even pmk has better ideas than her !

Saw the same thing. Did they just drag her in front of the camera as she was walking past? Is she a blose nose in disguise trying her damn hardest to put other ideas in the boards head? Is she related to MON in some way and have the same transfer ideas?
Link?

He does have a point IMO, just not putting it across well .

as much as we need a goal scorer, we've shipped nearly a 100 goals in the last 12 months which is something else that needs looking at , which might be what he's trying to say .

Whilst I appreciate that also we desperately need a striker and we have done for many a year, We've signed Walker who looks good so far, I would say a LB is going to come in and I seriously doubt this will be the end of it

I hope you're right, Monty. It would be great if he turned out to be more than a short term fix and really went on to be a Villa goalscoring legend.

Someone should remind Collymore that £24 million on any player would represent better value than the £7 million Aston Villa spunked up the wall for his services.

I blame the midfield a little as well , Makoun will make a difference and help the defence...   The ball sometimes just keeps coming back to us..

It seems like Bent had a preliminary scan at Bupa Little Aston at 6.40pm.

I don't think Randy and GH spend this money on the short-term. Everything's geared towards the overall plan, including this I think.

We are getting bent in his prime- most strikers reach a peak around 28 - 30 and if we get another 3 seasons after this out of him he may well score the goals that take us to glory.

We have the players to supply the chances , he is prolific in front of goal, makoun will be the midfield enforcer we have been crying out for, walker looks an exciting overlapping full back, things are coming together very nicely, bring in adam and a left back and we could go on a really good run, the league is tight and a decent run could soon shoot us into the top 8.

Exciting times ahead in b6!
