Not sure how true the info is, but I remember reading on here a couple of years ago that Tottenham/DelBoy/Levy don't sell players to what they consider to be direct rivals. Perhaps no amount of money or success at the time would have brought anybody here from Spurs, we were constantly linked with Jenas, Keane, Bentley, Krancarfgsfghhhst and Huddlestone for example. MON even fancied Hutton if I recall. So, IF Bent arrives it's because he had to go somewhere else first by the look of it.

It just proves how awful local BBC news is. I'm sure she won a competition to be a Blogger on all things Villa for BBC West Midlands. They get her on the radio every now and then also. I don't think I've heard her make one good point.
