I got my ticket the other day but no information was given about the best way of getting to St Andrews without being killed. I haven't been before but assumed that most people would travel by bus from Villa Park. Can anyone tell me if there are any buses or what the best alternative might be?

A lot of over-dramatic nonsense is talked about this game. Your best bet, assuming you're coming from the city centre, is to get a cab. On the way back, turn right out of the ground and keep walking.

Try not to make it look like a John Inman mince though.

I take the missus, park up by garrison lane and walk up to the ground. always wear me colours with pride and other than a few dirty looks and half hearted sotv's I have NEVER had a problem.

Mind you I am built like a gorilla, carry a baseball bat and the missus has a stanley blade just in case.

The whole thing is media hype and its just a bunch of trampy kids pretending they are hard. Football hooligans? I've had bigger shits.

Gary Gardner has been confirmed as a villa fan by a few as well. Not that it really matters all that much, after all Craig was a boyhood Villa until Blues came in for him, and suddenly well... he sold his soul to the devil.

I know his cousin, he's not, he's a nose - they all are.
Not long now till gary comes home now then......the whole clan is blues....... :D

He'll only return 'home' if he turns out to be average. That's when we'll get rid.

Gary has been said to be Villa the whole time. Gary won't go anywhere near Small Heath unless he is as average as his gargoyle headed brother.

Bentley will do well for Blues though, although the way Larsson delivered the ball last night I would not drop him.
