Any idea how many tickets we have sold for this?

I had a bizarre thought the other day when I saw that Houlier was at the Huddersfield v Sheff Weds match last week and that was that I hope he realises we are playing SHeff Utd in the cup and hasn;t gone to scout the wrong club!

I know he is having a bad time of things but even he can;t be that clueless can he?

Enough to make a scene if we go out.  It won't be pretty for GH and GMac.

We had a 3,000 allocation and I purchased a ticket on Wesnesday very comfortably; so, probably around 2-2.5k, I'd guess.

On the thread in the Tickets & Travel forum it's said we've had our allocation increased and have sold over 5,000 tickets.

Also there seems to be more talk about pubs before the game for those that're interested.

Nice to see everyone welcoming Kyle with open arms. Feel rather sorry for Lichaj as he had two excellent games and one where he concedes a penalty - and not a clear cut one at that -  in a game where the other three goals we conceded came from the other side of the pitch, gets a slagging from the manager ands is instantly forgotten. Shame!

We sold the 3000 in the lower tier and got given an extra 2400 in the upper tier. On wednesday morning we'd sold 5000 and had 400 left.

I've only seen games on TV and Lichaj seems to be a good solid player, can he play left back or is his Villa career done?

Should be a good day and a good win. I love The Cup- time to breed some confidence.

I sound like a party spokesman, but the Villa cannot keep me down for long.
