3-1 Heskey, Ash and Gabby. Bent for them. I don't want to get too carried away and suddenly predict clean sheets as well as a win.

1-1

I'm not getting carried away. Sunderland will be much trickier than we think I reckon though I hope I'm wrong naturally...

This is a must win.

I'm not going to let today's result lead me to any premature expectations of some great leap forward.  I expect a scrappy 2-1 win not dissimilar to the Albion game.

1 - 1  hope we can win though, especially after todays performance. It would be good for full backing from all  send Mr Potato Head back home with his tail between his legs, especially after his aproach for Downing via the press.

Sunderland win 2-0, Bent then Gyan from the bench and a stupid celebration because for some reason he thinks he can dance but looks like a right cock!

This won't be easy, they're good at the back and their strikers are dangerous, we need to take todays high and get at them from the start, an early goal and we'll do them 2-1

I don't think they're much cop. Certainly not away from home. They stole a point last season, but will get turned over on Wednesday now we have some belief to go back with our exprienced players.

Like Richard, I'm not going to get too carried away.  This is going to be a different type of game.

I think it'll be a draw although obviously I'm hoping for a win and a very emphatic one at that.

wont be easy, good to see the senior players putting a hard shift in, some tired legs at the end but we have the players to get up the table.
