Anyone voting anything other than a Chelsea win is insane.

I'm going for a 5-1 mauling, can't actually see us scoring to be honest but we might get a pen.  We are that bad.

Are Ashley and Luke Young back? They must play if fit. Give Lichaj and Albrighton a break. Not that it will make much difference.

I suspect Ash & Luke could play if they wanted to but are in no mood to play for this manager
What a fucking shambles. I in no way condone this behaviour from the players, there is no room for insubordination, but something is seriously wrong here, it's not just one or two players who seem unhappy with GH/GM, it appears to be all of them

How about waiting for the team to be picked before giving us these gems of certainty?

Several papers saying Ash is fit for Chelsea game. Luke young is still injured and this is on official site. I dont think making unfounded comments are going to help us to turn this round ??

When i saw the line up for the city game my mood lifted, but only for 8 minutes or so. Cant see what else can make a difference, maybe playing Ivanhoe.

It'll be tighter than the city game,a pointless Christmas though.

He did say "I suspect" which implies that he was not certain but speculating.

I have to say that I also "suspect" that none of the players are happy under Houllier. Call them selfish, overpaid, unprofessional brats all you want, but if you have no belief in a manager, no matter how much you want to succeed, it is pretty much the equivalent of pissing in the wind.

Villa are 11-1 to beat Chelsea-  I can never remember us having such odds for a game, ever!
I want to be positive but am dreading the game.  A 0-0 is about the best we can hope for - Houllier is destroying our club

11-1, worth a crazy tenner surely.

We should play all the fit "for sale" players and tell them to go and put themselves in the shop window.

If we're gonna get hammered (and I think we will), rest all the kids, make Downing captain and play 4-5-1 with Carew up front (if fit?)

Sorry to all you guys going, sounds like Moscow all over again but why not try something different??

Ireland and Dunne could be chosen.

Make that 6-0.
