He is a good manager, and I have seen his teams a few times over each season for the last 10, and think they play no worse football than Villa under O'Neill for much of the time, and he has got the likes of Okacha, Dunn, Djorkaeff, Pederson etc all to look like bloody good players from midfield in this supposedly latter day Wimbledon approach. Decent manager.

I think he's alright. He's his own worst enemy at times and does nothing to dispel the 'brand' that the media have created around him. But as others have pointed out, once he got Bolton established using crash bang wallop, he moved them onto a much better style, and certainly no worse than what we've had to put up with since Gregory went mad.
