KAren Brady was quick there wasn't she!?

He is a good manager, and I have seen his teams a few times over each season for the last 10, and think they play no worse football than Villa under O'Neill for much of the time, and he has got the likes of Okacha, Dunn, Djorkaeff, Pederson etc all to look like bloody good players from midfield in this supposedly latter day Wimbledon approach. Decent manager.

Always seems a right cock though.

I think he's alright. He's his own worst enemy at times and does nothing to dispel the 'brand' that the media have created around him. But as others have pointed out, once he got Bolton established using crash bang wallop, he moved them onto a much better style, and certainly no worse than what we've had to put up with since Gregory went mad. Unlikely as he is to wash up at Villa, as a local bloke he'd have some understanding of the club's status.

I wouldn't like his brand of football at Villa Park no wonder he was sacked the Venky's want entertaining football to be played.

They haven't got loads of cash spare, that certainly rules O'Neill out as he expects buckets of it.

Apparently they were horrified at Sam's suggestion of bringing Bentley and Roque back as they would cost a fair few million, they're looking to run it all on a tight budget and choose new players themselves.

As one of India's richest families, I'd imagine they have a bob or two, they just don't want to spend it.
The other name Big Sam was looking to sign in January was our very own John Carew.

Can't stand Allardyce, a horrible man who makes his teams play horrible football. This means I might not dislike Blackburn as much now he isn't their manager.

It also leaves Wenger as only real candidate for biggest bullshitter in the League now.

The anti-football. His teams are hideous to watch, and of late he seems to actually be getting worse in that respect.
Isn't that a cut & paste from your comments about our former manager?

Fat Sam makes Brand O'Neill look like Pep Guardiola by comparison.

Personally I think there's very little in it.

The Indians stated they want a better brand of football- leaves mon with no chance considering the dreadful style he has teams playing everywhere he goes- was chatting to a Celtic fan in holiday who said although the results were great and they won trophies under him it was also some of the worst football ever seen- a far cry from their past title winning teams.

Jol would be a huge coup for rovers but I feel he will reunite with chris hughton at west ham- if I put a bet on it I'd be very tempted to back alan shearer to get the Blackburn job.

It's a good job they managed to beat off international competition and lure Mowbray up to Parkhead, where his free-flowing football cemented his place in Celtic folklore.

I wouldn't step foot inside VP the whole time Allaradyce was in charge if we appointed him. He's a cock and his style of play makes us under O'Neill look like Barcelona.

Maybe Martin Jol will go to Blackburn, although I heard he has property in London so won't fancy a move oop north!

I predict Those Blackburn owners will be next (Two Davids) Sullivan and Gold. They want Diego Maradona as new manager. LOL.

Maradona would be ace.  He'd be entertaining and I could ask him to sign my retro Argentina shirt.
