Where have you been, Greg?

We've been shit for ages. Everyone thought of you as the first to appear in times of strife, but you've not been on. Have you been in prison or something?

Or in the jungle? Are you Shaun Ryder?

Or one half of Jedward?

See they are back with a medley of cover tunes. Just in time for Xmas. Expect that will be 'the present' the gerbils get me.

Baker - Cuellar centre back partnership please

It would make us stronger at the back by default and it would show Houllier to have some balls

might as well get the new Cahill in there if the other lads are stepping up

lots of reasons paulie

been busy, the shiteness of the original *new* beta version forum, the mere mention of MON provoking rage and a general disgust of football generally. Needed a rest basically.

Worry no more though. I'm back to lead you to the promised land.

Or Lembit Opik?
I always imagine Greg as that actor who used to goad Ricky Gervais in 'Extras'

I hate looking at the table showing where we are, and how even a win only moves you up a a couple of places.
We need to put a run together a pretty bloody sharpish.
I just hope its starts against the Baggies.
I am revising my forecast to
2-1 Villa...................please!

I believe Houllier will start with this team

Friedel - L.Young, Cuellar, Dunne, Warnock - Albrighton, Hogg, Ireland, Downing - A.Young - Agbonlahor

Subs: Guzan, Lichai/Beye, Collins, Reo-Coker, Bannan, Carew, Heskey

This will leave out Pires and Delfouneso completely, it will be interesting to see it that happens. I would be surprised if we have 3 strikers on the bench. I wonder what the reaction would be, if Carew was left completely out, Delfouneso deserves a place on the bench more than Carew. It would be interesting to read Carews quotes in the Norwegian press, if left out !

I think Cuellar will get a start, he got a positive mention yesterday ("we won 3 games with him"), we must try something new in defence,  and if there is any truth in the stories about Collins' visit to a night club, it would be more obvious. Ireland will get another chance, Bannan to come on if he fails... Hogg to start, as Reo-Coker is not fully fit yet.

If Heskey starts, then maybe Albrighton will be on the bench, that will also be interesting to see. I look forward to see if he will play Heskey + Agbonlahor in the coming weeks, even though that would mean that we start with 2 strikers !

By the way, Villa to win 3-1

Allbrighton will play unless he's injured or GH has gone crackers, we've missed him far more than other players with much bigger reputations.

But surely sprouty farts are something to be cherished and boasted about?
