0-2.
Albions goals...Dunne (O.G) and a pen after another ridiculous Warnock lunge in the box

This is the first time in a long time I've been nervous about us playing West Brom. We'd better bloody win.

Bloody hell, this is Olbiyun we're talking about isn't it? They haven't suddenly morphed into Barcelona have they?

4-0 Villa and they'll be lucky to get nil.

Actually dreading this... if we lose it will feel like the end of the world. Houllier HAS to play Cuellar or he might as well say au revoir to Aston Villa because both Dunne and Collins are hopeless. We NEED to win this - a draw simply won't do, 3 points will really give us a big boost in confidence where even a point at Wigan would mean we're starting to climb the table.

Right following GH's rallying call I'm more optimistic. I think we'll win 2-0.

Go for it with a 4-4-2 formation

Brad snr

L Young
Collins
Cuellar
Warnock

A Young
Hogg
Bannan
Downing

Gabby
Fonz

Albrighton omited on the basis that he clearly isn't fit yet, rushed back too quickly last night.

I'd go close to the team above. For me Carlos has to play (AGAIN!) and Fonzie deserves a chance. 4-5-1 isn't working with our injuries and we have no fully available proper defensive midfielders hence we should go on the Offensive and score more goals that the boggies do.

Agreed. Not sure a 4-0 but a Villa win. Even with poor recent form, with the right attitude on the pitch we have more than enough to beat that lot.

We have to win this game to arrest the slide. A good derby win might just kickstart the season. Ok, we have injuries but we still have a crop of really good players available. We should be winning on Saturday and need to demonstrate belief in ourselves. They need to show pride in the club and confidence in their ability.

As I said, a derby win before Christmas could lift things again. Come on villa, 2-0 would do nicely.

I like to see the Villa youth come through and do well for the first team as much as anyone, but i'm sorry but Hogg is'nt good enough at the moment and needs leaving out.

Let's switch it round at the back, put Carlos or Beye at right back, Luke Young at left back and Warnock alongside Bannan or Ireland in the middle. We need to toughen up, otherwise we'll just let average midfield's like last night swarm over us, putting pressure on an already shakey defence.

I reckon he will come on and get the late winner with a bicycle kick.
