Don't know if something similar to this has already been posted...http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/violent-scenes-could-impact-on-world-cup-bid-2149137.html?
Apologies if these have been posted.Look what some of our lot did.
I just played back that section of the video a few times (around 3:13) and I'm almost certain that the flare originally came from the Blues end - at the far corner of the kop to the left of our fans as we look at it in the video. The fact that it initially landed among the noses on the pitch (before being lobbed into our end) suggests that the (presumably) nose who first threw it couldn't aim very well.Anyhow, bringing a flare to throw at a football game is a totally demented, highly dangerous act, and not something I thought we'd see at a ground in this country. And as for smashing up the bogs - how utterly juvenile and pointless. I can't fathom how that might constitute a "result" of any kind.
The Guardian are reporting the flare was throwing into the Villa end. A blues fan called WM just after 7 this morning saying they're normally searched before most home games, so can't understand why there was no searching going on last night.I doubt we will ever play them at any other time than Sunday at noon ever again, which is very sad.

Quite why about 300 or so people felt the need to walk together all the way from Aston I don't know
