A lad making his third start for the club doesn't need to be criticised for being put in at the deep end and trying his hardest.

I completely agree for those reasons and also the fact there were far more deserving candidates.

Hogg is a victim of circumstance of our injuries and he is as somebody put it 'a baby'. Not much of a birthday for the lad.
