The health of your horse is more important.

Thanks lads.   Horse continues to recover.   I have a share in another horse that ran fourth last Friday at Wolves, beaten a couple of lengths.   Happy Jack beats it out of sight on the gallops.   I will keep you posted.

Poor fella. All the best to his recovery, Brian. As someone who suffers with Crohns disease, i know a bit about stomach ulceration. Not pleasant!

Please keep us updated.

I'm never usually that good at picking Horses, so i wouldn't read too much into my pick either!

I haven't started drinking yet, honest, but can any savvy H&V gamblers find the odds on Villa winning the FA Cup and staying up double.

Most bookies have us around evens to stay up and 14s to win the cup so 29/1 is about right.

Brian's horse at wolves tonight at 2/1 currently. In the 8.05. Is he alright now, Brian? (Genuine concern, not looking for a bet!)

Run of losing bets going back weeks, including Blues losing me 60 quid a couple of weeks ago by scoring twice in injury time.

Tonight, winning 4-fold on the cards, just needing Russia to win for a 40 quid payout. Russia get a penalty with 23 minutes to go to take the lead... what happens? That's right, crowd trouble, match abandoned.

Someone is trying to teach me gambling is bad, aren't they?

I'm going for a Notts and Lancs double in the cricket CC's. Pays around 22/1.

I've now officially given up on football betting. Unfortunately my heart always rules my head and I put down the things I want to happen on the coupon as though I am master of the fates.

I'll stick to horses.

Betting that is, not adhesively.

Nearly went for Stenson and Poulter each way in the masters. Heart and head. Head won.

Royal Ascot anyone?

Aside from that, how about Murray to win ATP Queens and Angelique Kerber to win WTA Brum?
