Bannan instead of Ireland?  Mental.

Why? Bannan has bags of energy. Ireland is a lazy git.

I must sat this selection is very harsh criticism of Ireland and Sidwell.

Sidwell has been ill this week apparently

Don't know why people are so worried about the lack of physicality in the team. We're against Fulham, for goodness' sake, this is not going to be a game decided in crunching challenges in the midfield. This is a team set up to try and keep possession and create chances, and I welcome it. Not only that, just look how many youth players we have in the side! And some would put Clark in as well, ahead of Dunne on form. I for one am feeling very proud of our youth set up today.

Deservedly so, in my opinion.

Bannan played very well when he came on last Sunday. He's in the team on merit.

Come on Villa, need the three points today. Nathan's chance to shine.

Lightweight line up but big chance for Fonz to make an impression

I doubt anyone had this team predicted in the pre-match thread.
Really looking forward to this.

Ok, Luke Young's just given the ball away twice inside one minute.
