Downing is currently the most inform player we have and long may it continue. He had Evra on toast
Obviously he's playing well on the wing so I wouldn't change it in the next few games but I wouldn't be adverse to moving Young back to the left and play Downing in the hole for a few games to have a look as he does have a decent pass and shot on him.

Maybe the answer is to have him and Ash interchanging positions during games?[/quoteQuote from: John M on November 16, 2010, 12:06:14 PMQuote from: SoccerHQ on November 15, 2010, 09:04:30 PMObviously he's playing well on the wing so I wouldn't change it in the next few games but I wouldn't be adverse to moving Young back to the left and play Downing in the hole for a few games to have a look as he does have a decent pass and shot on him.Interesting idea. His deliveries are sublime at times and we can't afford to lose that element of his game.I'd also like to add that he and Albrighton have been our star players so far this season imo.
