How many England caps does Jenas have compared with NRC?

Not as many as Phil Neville though, so lets go get him!

How many England caps does Jenas have compared with NRC? I'd say Palacios and Kranjcar are equal to Petrov and Downing

England caps? Who cares? Jenas is fucking shite. Krancjar is mostly anonymous and Palacios is a poor man's NRC from what I've seen. Their first choice midfield is pretty slick when they're "on it" but pardon me if I dont piss my pants over them and certainly not their poxy reserves.

I agree that Spurs get over hyped but Palacios is a much better player than Reo Coker.

He's much better than Reo-Coker in my opinion.

How exactly? What makes this so?

Anyway, I dont really want to discuss their players. It makes me feel ill.
Suffice it to say that, although our midfield needs improvement in the centre, Spurs' reserves are not an improvement.

He's as good as breaking up play, but is much more comfotable on the ball with a better eye for a pass. Maybe 'much better' was an exaggeration but I do think he's better.

Jenas is dog shit though.

I wish we had poxy reserve players of the calibre of Lennon and Keane to call upon.

Some facts. Palacios can pass to one of his players on a consistent basis sucessfully. He has pace. And every tackle he makes is not a foul ? Also he has pretty good control and looks comfortable on the ball. "poor man`s NRC" Mazrim you have some interesting points usually. But that comment is way off the mark ............

Yeah alright then, Palacios is brilliant, my mistake.

So are you saying NRC has no pace? Can't tackle without fouling? The season before last (he hardly played last season) he had the best tackling success rate for a midfielder in the league. Even above that other overrated gobshite Mascherano. I'd also fancy that NRC is quicker and stronger than Palacios. Neither of them are particularly good passers. So whatever this ace card Palacios has to play, I'm not aware of it.

Anyway, enough about Palacios, I dont care. If you think he's ace, fine. I dont.

Well, Ireland and Gabby can hardly get a game at the moment. Still, Spurs are the bestest! I dont even know why we're bothering going down there.

I'm with you Maz, 100%.

And Palacios looks like he's nicked his head off a Sesame Street character.

2-0 Spurs.  VDV with 2 pens.

EDIT.  Pens which will be given for fouls on Aaron Lennon by Stephen Warnock after the former has skipped past the latter and left him for dead.

Will he not be banned?

For what?

Not for the CL sending off he won't, he didn't get sent off in the PL last week so he'll be ok to play.

Does CL red cards only count in the CL then? Is it only a suspension in Europe? I genuinely dont know.

Yep - Euro suspensions only count in Euro games.  That's why Dunne wasn't able to play for us away in Vienna.  His suspension following his last Euro game was held over from his Man City days.
