Bit underwhelmed by Bradley tbf, Borussia M'gladbach rock bottom of Bundesliga and going down

Ashley Young was relegated with Watford.

Buying the best players from struggling teams is quite a good way of doing business.

I'm totally the opposite. If you'd said to me in August Villa would be going for Michael Bradley, I'd have said, great, he had a good World Cup. A month ago, I had to check to see who the fuck Charlie Adam was.

I cannot imagine Liverpool would make a bid of £35 m if that's what newcastle are asking for- they are pricing him out of the Market.

They have done.

I wonder what the reaction would have been amongst Liverpool supporters, had Roy Hodgson spent 35 million on Andy Carroll, and what the reaction will be if King Kenny does it?

Liverpool have not bid £35m for Carroll- that is believed to be the price Newcastle want for him, surely Liverpool would not go that high.

Found my August post:

Doesn't Bob Bradley have a decent midfield playing son, Mike Bradley?

Why the fuck does everyone assume Young wants to go to Liverpool?

He's not stupid, he knows that in the summer he'll have plenty of offers if he decides to go. There's nothing in it for him to jum ship to a side who will not be able to offer him CL football next season.

unfortunatly mate, this is the nature of the tranafer window,

Liverpool supporters were saying exactly the same about Torres leaving up till a couple of days ago, Newcastle the same about Carrol, Sunderland the same about Bent etc

fans of clubs can always make a good case for a player to stay with them because we are all to emotionaly connected, but players think differently,

i dont know if Ash will go to Liverpool today, but i know if they come in with a big bid it will be squeakie bum time

Nope.

If it was Manu or Arsenal I'd agree, but it would be daft move for Ash now when he can sit tight and see what is available in the summer. He's not going to hand in a transfer request to go there.

Andy Carroll £35m FFS... Dazza is a snip at £18 in that case and Fonz must be worth at least £15m

Probably about the same as the difference with some of us between MON or Houllier signing Spurs 3rd choice right back on loan.

Are Liverpool really going to spend all the Torres cash on Carroll?

I hope not.

Those funds need sending Stateside so that the Red Sox can go after Albert Pujols

Having re-read the very first post of this 511 page thread, I wonder what time we'll be bidding for Owen, leaving it a bit late

If Torres goes, then L'plops new owners have ti show they mean business, hence why they are going Carroll (OK, for silly money) and Adam...
