I think the same can be said of Bale. It was around this time last season he came good and then that hatrick against Inter Milan and he's the next Messi. Very good player undoubtedly, but I can't help the feeling he's just had a real purple patch that's elevated him above where he should be and he'll settle down to be a top PL player, but not a top world star.

Can't see Samba happening at all. Just don't see the need for him now the big men are in form, unless big Dunney is off to Liverpool for 7 million!

Me neither. I can't see any need for a CB at all. If (and a big if) we did get him, I can see Cuellar being the first one to be shipped out, which would be a shame.

Samba is a strange one I must admit

But if a local journo and ian taylor are apparently saying its going to happen, they must have heard something legit

I can't see why it would spell the end for Cuellar, he's gone under the radar abit this season but hes been excellent at times, especially Wolves away and Man City at home

I think he's ahead of Young and Beye in the right back pecking order and we probably won't see much of either of them again in a Villa shirt
