The biggest thing we have missed about Jimmy is his legs in the centre of midfield - he was running hard from 1-90. Petrov can't do it, NRC visibly tires due to not pacing himself every week. Bradley is the type of player I think we though Sidwell was, all rounder with quality. Lets hope he is a lot better than the ginger one.

Centre back? Has to that Spahic lad surely? Unless he has got Lescott in his sights to play left/ centre.

Lescott would be a shocker, but a really good signing. Especially at LB, and certainly from what he brings in the opposition area. Unfortunately, many of those Man City players have priced themselves out of the market due to their wages.

Thing is Villadawg, the one from 12 months later that was looked at on here many times showed Spurs a good 9 million less than Villa, so you are simply using something that suits yours, albeit out of date.

How many years was it mon was here before we won a league game in march, Percy?

Do you not agree that our players seemed to run out of steam each year around the same time because of lack of rotation villadawg?

Even jt said on tv about villa always tire after about an hour- I am more than happy to have a manager that rotates and keeps his players fresh!

Sorry Bent Feltcher, I know what he gets like but he is doing exactly what he is accusing others off. Should we have a sweepstake on how many we will sign on deadline day then?

I am going for just the 1, with 2 further departures - Bradley in, Ireland, Warnock out.

I'll go 2 and 2

Bradley and a defender in, Ireland and Warnock out.

I agree. Takes me hours to trawl through sometimes, looking for actual news, when I come in from work.

Nobody had heard of that Swiss Rambler website a month ago.
I know the site. Fantastic source of up to date information for those going on a walking holiday in the Alps.

Everything else on there is bollocks.

The site has faded badly since they lost the (I'll risk it for a) Swisskit sponsership.

Would love Westwood in, although he does look like a young Andy Townsend.
