Am I hearing/seeing right? Rather Larsson than Adam? Playing Larsson before Albrighton?
Absolute nonsense.

Larsson is nowhere near as good as Albrighton with a small percentage of the potential and talent.
He's not shit, is commited and takes a good set piece but he would be nothing more than a 4th choice winger and I question whether Bannan should play wide before he does. I'd sooner play him han Pires though but that's about it.
Please dont do this Houllier. Take the cash and if they can't afford it, tell them to fuck off, or get Johnson or even Ridgewell back at left back.

We just dont need Larsson. Obviously I'll back him if we get him but he'd better not hold anybody back.
I do think Larsson's better than Adam, thats as far as i'd go though, don't want either of them

Larsson is a decent player, better than Sidwell. Would be a decent squad player, but I wouldn't play him ahead of any of our current midfield. Pires doesn't count.

Well said Greg, davies was not good enough to get ahead of our 4 central defenders, not overkeen on larsson though, not seen you for a week or so, what do you make of this holloway business where ge gets a cut of the profit on adam?
I've now got a vision of Greg as a mystic Indian Guru sitting on top of a mountain.
The remaining Beatles will want an audience with him next.

i see myself as more of an omnipresent force for good in the background  rather than a spiritual leader. Villa's version of Nelson Mandela say.

Houllier is very much man who likes to rotate so maybe he sees larsson as a back up player- 3 years ago he looked a decent player but hasn't kicked on from there, as maz says maybe ahead of pires but would be well down the pecking order at villa-I suppose he's more use to us than davies but that's about as good as you can say for him.

Larsson has caused us one or two problems when we've played them. Not difficult, I know, but he's not all that bad. However, I just can't see where he fits in. And if it means helping them strengthen their defence in the process then I'd say no way. Whatever we like to think, at the moment relegation is still a possibility. Don't go giving your rivals a helping hand. Whatever happened to Leicester's interest in Curtis?

He should take the money for Davies (and I wouldn't sell him to them either but anyway) and go and see if he can get Kallstrom who's out of contract soon. Or keep his powder dry until the summer.

still not getting this helping blose out theory. Have i missed a change in the laws of the game where you get extra points for your centre half being hopelessly out of position for 90 minutes? He's total bobbins. Even the bloke who bought him eventually came to that conclusion

Maz,

You usually post a lot of sense on here when it comes to transfers and anything else Villa are up to. But Ridgewell? Are you taking the piss mate?

As for Davies, he's been poor, but what if he goes there and plays well?
I couldn't bear the thought of us helping them with their survival.

Call it off Gerard, we don't need the money and we certainly don't need Larsson.

I see Larsson as the best set-piece taker in the Premiership. He is lethal at free kicks and corners and a good crosser from open play. I also think he is the key player for City, so the sooner he goes the better.

I would agree that the rest of his play is suspect but that might improve with coaching and having better players around him.

If only we were all owners or managers-Eh?
