Although the women presenter on SSN did say he had signed, they corrected it to say only a fee had been agreed.

Oh the halcyon days when I really believed that Saviola was en route... brings a tear to the eye =').  £5m for Makoun last I heard we were talking £6.5, there must be some fearsome add ons with that fee.  So if whatsisname is right we'll be spending another £5mill+, excellent good news.

Ha ha. Back in those days I really belived that if the Holte wished and believed hard enough then these palyers would come. I was convinced for about 4 years that Bully was coming.  Shame. Even for a tatter he would have been superb.
