"Coming soon we'll have pictures of David Beckham in Spurs training gear, on the Spurs training pitch, training with Spurs players"

that is a real quote from a SSN reporter "LIVE" outside the Spurs training ground this morning. I had to turn it off.
me too, i was nearly sick...

the most over rated bloke in the history of the game, to the most over rated club in the history of the game...

God speed the end of the SKY era.
It's not obvious right now but hopefully one day they'll disappear up Rupert Murdoch's anus and explode violently.

Could maybe understand the hype if it was 4 yrs ago but beckham is well over the hill at this level , if they did sign him he's not good enough to get in their team- who cares ?

So has Bridge signed for West Ham then? i cant see confirmation anywhere...
According to SSN when they are not drooling over Beckham in training (what a circus that is) he is having a medical how may of those did Sidwell have?

"Coming soon we'll have pictures of David Beckham in Spurs training gear, on the Spurs training pitch, training with Spurs players"

that is a real quote from a SSN reporter "LIVE" outside the Spurs training ground this morning. I had to turn it off.

Vomit inducing.

Shows how hard up they are for a story, rolling coverage of a bloke training.
An absolute non story which I can't believe is still running when it's clear the likelihood of him signing on loan is zero.Especially as LA Galaxy want him back in training in Feb.A joke !!

Great news that Spam have got bridge, what a joke - 90k a week for a dodgy left back.

Can't see Adam coming either, think Blackpool will resist any bids

After watching SSN and reading the papers for the last couple of weeks I think I get the gist of 'The Biggest Football Story Ever' now. Basically, instead of training with Arsenal during the US close season he is now training with Spurs. But like all great stories there could be a twist - he might actually make a few appearances for them too till next month - incredible stuff!

Henry has been training with Arsenal since October and Beckham trained with Arsenal in 2009 for 2 months.

Just shows what a media circus Spurs are.

I'd like to think Houllier would be after Taiwo but is unable to get him until the Summer, so if Warnock's leaving we need someone to cover until the end of the season.

Bridges wages are ridiculous but we wouldn't have to pay a loan fee, so getting him for 70k a week would cost us about £1.4m all in to the end of the season? Whereas we'd save the £2m we owe Blackburn and 40k per week till July we'd have to pay Warnock if we swapped him from Samba.

Think Adam and Makoun would be a massive couple of players over the next 6 months - both captains of their clubs so clearly leaders on the pitch too. At left back there has to be more options beyond Bridge that we can bring in. Who is playing there and doing well in the Championship?

Kendrick made it clear that there is a striker target in front of the lad linked from Monaco too, but was not privy to who it is. Also thinks we will spend in excess of 10million this window which is good news if it comes to pass.
