He can't be any worse than Warnock.

Still think it would be sensible to give Clark a run at left back instead mind. Give him some PL experience before next season when I hope he is a starter.

I'd take Bridge - always thought he was a decent player that was wasted sitting on Chelsea's and then Man City's benches.

same here John

We should be making a goalscorer the priority and paying them 90k / week if necessary, not some second rate, prima dona left back

Whatever you think of the wisdom of signing Wayne Bridge, describing him as 'second rate' and primadonna' is about as far wide of the mark as you can get.

Only at Villa, where we now have a young CB filling in at LB, could we turn our nose up at signing a player like Bridge on loan for a few months. He's no superstar but he's a more than capable left-back who should solve a problem for us.

Bridge is shite, no better than Warnock, at least twice his salary. Martin Olssen at Blackburn is a better player than both and is who we should be looking at.

same here John

I would sign the Wayne Bridge who played for Southampton. But after five years of being in the comfort zone, does he still have the freshness and the desire?

I bloody doubt it to be honest.

He's probably too much in his shell now that everybody knows that John Terry was exchanging bodily fluids with his now ex-girlfriend.
I'm betting Terry got his brown wings off her and wiped his helmet on Bridge's velvet curtains to boot.

Depending on your viewpoint I might have some bad news about John Lennon.

Me too but a short term loan might give him a kick up the arse to salvage something from his carreer if only to pay for a few more tattoos.

Regarding Charlie Adam, his contract runs out end of this season, that's why he is so cheap.

Regarding Petrov, his goal was smashed straight at the keeper, no composure at all just like the sitter he missed 2 mins before.

NRC is our defensive midfielder Charlie Adam would work brilliant with him, so fingers crossed.
