Young is reminding me of the kid at school who wanted to do everything. The only thing he doesn't do is goal kick's.....yet.I just wish he would concentrate on being the bloody good winger he was.

Maybe it's because he has little faith in those around him ?

Remember, he was found out as an out and out winger, so MON moved him to a that role.

I agree though, he was at his best attacking defences in and around the box rather than picking the ball up in his own half much of the time.

We shouldn't sell Ash, it would be a big mistake.

So you will be quite happy for him to walk out on the club for nothing in 18 months then.........

Greg, which of our players do you think we should currently be offering improved contracts to?

well cuellar's contract for a start. you may not want him, but its a hell of lot of money to write off for a club not exactly flush with money
Nope, I'd happily agree with that.

There'd be a lot of clubs sniffing around if Cuellar became available and he's not someone we should be contemplating selling.

How about Downing? Should we be offering him a contract extension due to his form this season?

I would come the summer Dave, 2 years to run and a 12 million investment.

We still owe them money for Warnock, so it'd be more like Collins + warnock + writing off the money we owe them.

Fuck off, if Samba is better than Collins why is he still stuck at Blackburn?

Give them Warnock in return for writing off what we still owe them (like Liverpool did with Keane). Keep Collins and let them do whatever they want with Samba.

Just out of interest, in order to see how other clubs do things, does anyone know how long Rooney had left when he agreed he new Man Utd contract recently?

more to the point why did Ferguson offer an improved deal to a player who's been poor all season and not waited like us for his form to improve? madness from the most sucessful domestic manager of all time *cough*

We haven't waited to make Young an offer, the player himself broke off negotiations and said he'd talk again at the end of the season.
