I believe you can only sign a max of 2 on loan from the English Leagues. However you can sign more on loan from overseas...

The worry is he starts off well, which he does at every club, and thus gives them some much needed impetus. Long term, they will find out the same as us about Carew but that isn't so relevant at the moment so I agree with you...

I know needs must and all that but one of the things I was looking forward to seeing happen was to see young, hungry players come in from both here and abroad and work toward earning superstar wages.

I just don't think it has occured to anyone within the club that WBA are one of our big rivals in the fight against relegation - so why sell them someone who, if he regains his form (inevitable once away from GH's toxic influence) could keep Albion up.

I depair, it's almost as if the club is doing all it can to go down.

My colleague at Head Office in Hamburg says (cheeky git) -
Roman Weidenfeller (30) plays an excellent Season at Dortmund (Rank 1) this year and also in the last season
he was very constant.
 
In the last years he sometimes made a boob, but not in the last times. (but you know that from your goalies)
 
He is physically very strong, very ambitious and has absolutely fearless in his penalty area.
 
Dortmund definetely would like to keep him but who knows whether they can do it.
(although there must be a lot of money in that potential deal, becasue with Dortmund he would play CL next year,
and in Birmingham he would play in the first Division only.
 
Weidenfeller is certainly a very good goalkeeper, not as brilliant as Manuel Neuer (our German No.1),
but probably one of the Top 5 in Germany, so go and get him!!!!
