I want players who will fight to keep this club up and show quality on the pitch. Bentdner may be a good player, but is he going to roll his sleeves up to get us out the shit we're in? doubt it.

I'd bring Bendtner in like a shot. We need goals, and he can get them - not the finished article but a damn sight better than we currently have. He's much improved since his loan spell at the Blues.

Samba? Not a massive fan, but he's a big bloke, domineering, dangerous at set pieces. Would rather keep Collins - I'd swap Dunne, to be honest. And I'd keep Curtis because I reckon he'd be the best CB in the Championship next season...

Collins was probably the only player who showed real passion last night. Heading out and saving a shot off the line. Would be a terrible mistake. Do not rate Samba that highly .........

Although it was his ridiculous defending that let Bent in in the first place.

He's been terrible of late, still wouldn't let him go though.

Whatever we're going to do, whatever we're talking to other clubs about in the transfer market, we absolutely must make the deals happen as soon as we can if the manager is staying.

If he stays and we don't back him and make the deals happen, we're dead in the water.

Think quite a few players fall into that category. But generally he does look like he cares and is willing to put the work in .......

I don't think we will be splashing out large sums this window. It will be swaps/loans etc in the hope we pull out of the bottom 3 with the players we have. The big money will be used in the summer.

He was one player that looked gutted at the whistle, good team man and i think he really likes playing for us.

The signs aren't good, Huddersfield / Spurs reserves & 28 year olds on loan from Disney League

Exactly what i said last night. Basically back him with the players he wants now. Or sack him and we basically miss the window and i think that would definitely put us down regardless of  any manager who replaces him ....

Is it Alex Smithies, the 'keeper? I'm not against the likes of him and Walker, with a view to building a team over the next few years. That's fine.

But with the position we're in, we need one or two short-term, quick fix signings of guaranteed quality. Got to bite the bullet, even on wages and loans to the end of the season. So, although I've been against getting Robbie Keane in, I'm now thinking him on loan until the end of the season wouldn't be a bad idea. We need goals, we need creativity, we need quality. And we need it now.

And yes, if we're not going to back GH now, sack him and replace him with KMac for the rest of the season. He may at least play Gabby as a striker, Downing wide left, get some spirit back in the side.

I agree about Keane, always been against signing him but after last night we relly need a fiery character to liven the forward line up.
