The Daily Mail reckon Robbie Keane would take a 50% pay cut (33 grand) to join the scum or Wolves. With Sidwell going and another few players that would easily be covered. Not the long term fix but would definitely get us goals and out of this mess .......
He's scored something like 3 goals in his last 30 league games. Heskey has a better goalscoring record over the last couple of seasons.

(this was from memory of an indignant, angry post from a few months ago, so I accept the exact facts might be wrong - but the gist is more or less correct)
He has hardly played this season. In pre season when he was playing in a tournament every game. He was top scorer along with the player of the tournament. His work rate is high and is good in the changing room ?? Even twitchy face commented on how it is very hard to leave him out before Van De Vaart turned up ......

If we have £4/£5m to spend on a striker who can't get in someone else's team who has a good record and will offer us something we don't currently have then we should be looking at Tuncay well before we should be looking at Keane.

Signing Keane on anything other than a six month loan would be absolutely mental.

One of the things that annoys thier fans about him is the way he gives up if the pass isn't just so and then bawls out his teammates. could see a lot of that if he joins us, especially with some of our passing :0(. Didn't want him when MON was here, still don't. The reasons: too old, too expensive, shit form since he left spurs the first time.

I don't trust a player with four consecutive consonants in his name.

Unless he's our best ever player...

1 in 12 for Spurs this season

9 in 25 the season before, but 4 of those were in one match (Burnley), 1 was against Preston and 1 Peterborough in the cups.

Also, what about those with five consecutive consonants?

I can think of one.

We beat Juventus with our youngsters in a pre-season tournament. It means bugger all.

I've gone back and counted just to prove the point. One goal in his last nineteen Premier League games.

How would that help us? Why not play Delfouneso who has a better record than that?

Collins is good with Dunne, but for me he has'nt played well with anybody else, he certainly can't play on the left.

We have Cuellar, Clarke, and if we bring Davis back, we probably only need 1 other CH.We have been linked with the French C/H , and he'll do me.

Jarvis, at 24, is going to be a very good player, and won't last at Wolves long, if we can get him and it means letting go an under performing player, then so be it.

Hands up with them stats did not think it was that bad. Would you honestly put your money on the Fonz scoring more goals than Keane to the end of this season ??

If we ever sign Jakub Blaszczykowski from Borussia Dortmund, then that's it for me I'm afraid

Can we please forget Keane?  The man's a busted flush.  I'd rather go for Owen, I really would.  But there's more chance of me nailing Rosie Webster but hey ho.
