For sure, but business can be done, especially if like Houllier you have contacts across Europe, and if you are aggressive. I don't disagree that it will be hard to make any significant deals in January, but maybe we don't need those until the summer, and just need 2 or 3 clever signings to improve us, see us through the balance of the season.
