Agree on M'Vila guys, think he has put himself at the top of the new crop of young defensive midfielders that seem to be in abundance in France right now.
Bendtner does seem to be one of these much maligned players, but tends score given the chances, the biggest complaint about him from Arse fans I know is that he needs 5 chances to score, but as I said before, we do seem to be creating a fair few chances nowadays!

I wouldn't mind Bendnter at all.

M'Vila would be ace.

I'm coming round to Elmander too.

We need in January a good striker, a good defensive midfielder and a left back. M'Vila and one of those two would be the answer to the first two problems for me.

What a charming soul you are Reality.

I'll believe we are interested in Juninho when I see him with that shirt and if Gerard thinks he can benefit us on a short term contract then so be it. Pires may be 37 years old but he's only here in the short term and will make a contribution off as well as on the pitch in helping our young players hopefully. Now, it's early days but I reckon he'll do well in both these functions (tried some decent balls when he came on and looks better than Ireland) and he's only here for the short term anyway.

Now, what out of contract players should we be signing to provide desperately needed extra bodies. Who is available that can help there that is better than Pires? Are Xavi and Iniesta looking for new clubs? We are down to the bare bones so signing Pires can help there. Juninho might actually wrestle the ball of Young at free-kicks and show him how it is done.

And even then I sincerely doubt that we are after him and I don't see us bringing anyone in until January.

As we are down to the bare bones then Lerner should dip into his pocket and spend what is required in January to sort this travesty out. Or should we wait until the summer and completely write this season off? We might as well not bother watching the football if that's the case, as we have next year to look forward to. What a pile of shite.

If the club are unwilling to spend appropriately in January to deal with this then it is obvious they don't give a fiddlers about this season. They still expect us fans to chip in during a worldwide recession to watch the club. It works both ways.

Why don't you come out with something constructive and on topic rather than using the term "arsehole"?

Like what, constantly whining, calling peoples opinions shite, getting everything arse upwards and pissing people off. That kind of constructive you mean?

Where did I call someone's opinion "shite"?

Getting everything "arse" upwards? What does that even mean?

It might be worth going for Elmander from Bolton as his contract is running out in the summer, I have a feeling Santa Cruz will be coming to us though.

It means getting things twisted and confused.

Sandman was doubting we're after Juninho and then you launch into some tirade about Lerner spending in January.
Then you've called somebody a halfwit. Any need? Just chill out. You seem to do a lot of ranting.
You also seem to be concerned we're buying/linked to aged out of contract players when at the moment, thats all we can do.

Arguing and name calling on the transfer thread - that must mean we're getting close to the window!

RSC will find up with his mate Hughes at Fulham I would wager.

Do you think we would see the same RSC as Bburn seen? I dont unfortunately, Elmander is just finding his feet in the prem now and i would be ver happy at that...
