All good tries, but you'll be surprised to hear, they're all wrong. The only answer I can offer is: I have no idea.

I found the signed card inside an Albert Camus book (no, I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Algerian goalie/existentialist) - I was using it as a bookmark. I have no recollection of who signed it, at all, but I'm sure it was done between ten and twenty years ago. Which narrows it down a bit.

And it's driving me Blues bonkers. So, please help.

I'm sure it was done in town, perhaps at some kind of sport equipment/clothing/footwear shop. Not a book signing, because it would have been a book, not a crappy piece of card with "Super Soccer" printed on it in cheesy font. It surely must be a Villa player, because why else would I be bothered to go to all that trouble to get the autograph, unless it was a really famous footballing other, like Zico, Gazza or Ruben Agboola?
