I've got 2 spare tickets if anyone's interested - both for £30  (half price) but need to collect from Selly Oak.

PM me if interested.

If we pick the right team we'll win, if he does it without any regard to the opposition again we'll get stuffed.

4-4-2 = Defeat.

4-5-1 = Draw/Win

If that's your way of saying drop Downing for this one, I'd agree. It's going to be a tough battle and we can't afford to carry any passengers, nevermind a dead donkey.

Pennant and Gudjohnsen on the bench.

Wilson starts for Stoke. Delap starts so we can expect the throws.

Friedel
Young - Collins - Dunne - Warnock
Albrighton - NRC - Petrov - Downing
Young
Gabby

No Carew or Ireland.

Carew and Ireland doubtful.

Not expecting much, Stoke are a well drilled outfit who raise their game at home.
But would like to see how Ireland gets on if we were to play a CM containing Petrov and NRC behind him.

4-5-1 with NRC and Petrov in the side =  2-2
4-4-2 or 4-5-1 with Ireland deep = 0-2 or 1-3 to them

Downing needs a serious kick up the backside.

Every time I am pessimistic about us playing we usually win. I am like that now, so here's hoping.

Our bench is awful.  Stoke's bench is far better than ours.  Shocking.

22 Guzan, 23 Beye, 24 Cuellar, 47 Clark, 09 Ireland, 50 Hogg, 18 Heskey

01 Begovic, 03 Higginbotham, 28 Wilkinson, 06 Whelan, 16 Pennant, 07 Gudjohnsen, 10 Fuller

Anyone agree?
