Thank you. With regard to point 8, where is it and when might it be reinstalled?

Evening General.
Regarding the screen, is it possible to put the screen on top of an Austin Montego and drive it round the pitch at half time with the hazard lights flashing. The older fan can then get the half time scores with misty eyes.
Thanks.

General Krulak here:

2.  TimtheVillan:  I honestly don't understand your question and have become confused with all the back and forth.  Just ask me your question in plain "yank" english and I will try to answer you.

Not surprised, there was some interruptus alright.

2 questions:

1) Do you plan to upgrade the North Stand in between seasons ?

2) Do you think that a kind of uniting of the stands - not nessesarily with seats ( glass / perspex / walls ) could improve the atmosphere at Villa Park as much of the noise generated is not contained within the stadium as it is at the moment.

Thanks General.

General,

Obviously you and Randy are both very passionate about the club.

What have been your highlights of your time in charge?

General,

Quite clearly MoN has a voodoo doll somewhere of all the players and is slowly taking them out. Is it not time the club pulled it's finger out and took him out in return? ;)

General Krulak here:

1.  bigad82:  I have already asked the facility folks to look for a bracket that might fit the roof of your Austin Montego...and to figure out the best way to cut down the obvious wind resistance that will come from the screen.  Always trying to think of ways to save you money.

2.  The screen will be put up after the work on the stand is completed.  It is now in storage in the bowels of the stadium...if I said where, I am afraid some of my favorite H&V folks would find it, and remount it.

3.  Both Randy and I have several highlights:  The first time we stood in the old Director's Box and looked at the lads come out onto the Pitch.  The return of the '82 Squad with the scarfs flying.  Ron's return to Villa Park.  5-1 Blues game.  These are just some of the great memories.

4.  Our plan would be to upgrade during the off-season...not necessarily this coming one.  Not real sure about closing the corners.

that was indeed, a magnificent day... 3-0 against sheff utd... i took my missus to that game, and all she did was read the old newspaper and talk about her nails... women!

its a good job she has a cute arse, otherwise i would have disowned her that day... (athough i think she was a bit intimidated by the crowd, as she had only ever been to a plymouth argyle game when they were in league 2, before that...)

strangely enough, the big crowd freaked out my young cousin when i took him to his first villa game in the friendly against internazionale...

General, a lot of the posts on this thread are either about the North Stand screen, or the tannoy system. You have repeatedly said that neither will be addressed until the re-build. I'm only speaking for myself here, but I could accept the delay if there were a definate timeframe for the work to be done. To hear that not only won't it be done this season, but possibly not next season, or even the season(s) after is dismaying. I accept that we don't have an absolute right to a link to the upper echelons of the club, and that you try to be as open with your answers as you can. But don't you see that this is a major bone of contention for many fans; the majority of whom have been, and are, very patient.

Mr. Krulak, Question - though it has possibly been asked before.

Who approved the signing of Stephen Ireland? MON may have supported the Milner/Ireland deal but it was completed after he left. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but buying players without having a manager on board is stupid in the extreme.

Its General not MR

It has been explained before as well

The US Army doesnt have any authority over me anyway. Mr Krulak is a board member who gives of his time to answer fans on a forum fair enough. I applaud him for that but I'm not going to genuflect before a general in the US army at the same time.

So what? It's a matter of respect and recognition of his career. General Krulak is the correct term as far as I am concerned.

Fair enough, but I suppose you expect an answer despite the fact you can't respect him for what he has achieved in his rather remarkable career?
