General,

Just noticed that Arsenal's partner club the Colorado Rapids have won the MLS.  I assume that the Chivas team has some sort of deal with the Mexican Chivas team too.  I do not know how or in what capacity these partnerships are established but have villa considered such a deal?

Have the club considered a partnership with the Columbus Crew for example?  It'd be an ideal place for some of our younger players to get experience and also a team where we could grow american and latin players for the Villa team.  Not to mention the publicity that it could bring to Villa in the states.

I have mentioned Columbus Crew because of it's proximity to Cleveland, an even better option would be a Cleveland Villa team...  A certain Brad Freidel would be an ideal manager.

Too jazzy?

General, again, could you please ask those responsible to consider returning the big screen in the North Stand?

Leeg - he answered that several pages back.  I believe the answer was that it won't be looked at untli the North Stand is re-developed.

General,

Is the North Stand re-development being planned so that it happens between seasons, thus, hopefully, it will have no ( or minimal) impact on the fans / the capacity at VP ?

When the new Trinity was built, I seem to remember a whole season without that Stand in action and it was quite a difficult season for tickets etc.

Wasn't there asbestos problems with the trinity development?

Ah Ok. I knew it was one of the stands on the side.

How long do we have to wait for the North Stand to be redeveloped? If it's years away why can't the big screen be returned?

General. Any chance we can have a choice of lagers in the stands rather than the nats piss that is currently offered?

I'm in no rush, the prices will go up when it gets redeveloped, and it's good value at the moment even without a chip pan.

I can't believe that the first job to do when redeveloping it was to take the screen down, we're clearly not going to do anything else to the stand until May so I just don't understand the logic.

I can't believe that when so many people on here complain that TV has ruined the game there are so many people complaining that one's been removed!!!  Why don't we all just watch what's going on on the pitch?!

It's not JUST while the games being played, but before the game and at half time too .... it adds to the atmosphere and is informative.

Guess it depends where you sit as to how reliant you'd become on it - in the Upper Trinity it was a very useful screen and (almost) a plethora of information to boot !

It would have to be a new screen anyway as the bottom third is now what makes up the screen in the Trinity/ North Stand corner.

There's plenty of room above that new walkway for the big screen to be reinstalled.

Incidentally General, what's happened to the old big screen, has it been put into storage or has it been sold?

General Krulak here:

1.  Villa1:  Yes, when the new stand is put in, we will upgrade acoustics and tannoy.

2.  TimtheVillan:  I honestly don't understand your question and have become confused with all the back and forth.  Just ask me your question in plain "yank" english and I will try to answer you.

3.  Philfromtheupperholte:  The Club sponsors many, many, projects and efforts...we cannot do them all.  I am afraid a mustache probably would not rank too high on the meter.

4.  DCF:  I don't know what more I can say about ST prices that I haven't said many, many, times before.  We have worked hard to keep them as low as possible...MUCH lower, across the board, than most Clubs.  We walk a fine line is we keep them lower as we will never be able to afford to do many of the things you, as a fan, would like done.  Like buying players.

5.  pauliewalnuts:  The one thing that I have been assured is that ST holders still make out significantly better than those who buy single game tickets.  Not only is it cheaper but the seats are guaranteed and when we go to Wembley, the ST-holder knows they will have a seat.

6.  brontebilly:  I have literally answered your question, at a minimum, of 4 times.

7.  dantelevelli:  Yes, we have and are considering an affiliation.  It has to be "right."

8.  We kept the old screen.
