What a brilliant response from the Club/ The General on a very important issue. Thanks.

Please accept my apologies- Paulie et al on my rant 532. Bloody arrogant in re -reading.

Good man, Simba.

General, I recently found my old Subbuteo set in the loft (attic) at my parents' house. I have the Villa team c1987 but I'm a player short (I presume it's Hodge and he's refused to play). Do you fancy a match sometime? I'll even play with only the 10 men. Just name the time and the place.

Barry Bannan will give it a go.

Sorry !

general in view of damages caused inside villa park by visiting fans at the weekend, will we be sending the bill to st andrews or will villa have to pay themselves?

General Krulak here:

1. DeKuip:  Let me be perfectly clear, our previous Manager was deeply involved in the Milner/Ireland deal.  Absolutely!  The deal was basically done by the time he left.  I can also assure you that Randy would not and does not try to get involved in the Manager's decisions re. players until the very end...and would certainly not get involved in naming individuals to bring to the Club.  Again, the Manager has to have that as part of his mandate.  The idea that this deal was "forced" upon the previous Manager and that is why he left is not accurate.

Thankyou General, first for taking the trouble to reply, and secondly for such a good and clear answer.
Ireland has the talent to become a fans hero here just as he was at City and I look forward to him showing his true form.

General,

The game on Sunday was of course against our bitterest rivals and not shown on tv, yet we failed to sell out.  From where I sat in the Upper Doug Ellis there were no seats unsold in the North Stand or Holte end, but many seats in the central areas of the Upper Trinity. (The expensive seats) Do the club acknowledge that for the most expensive seats at Villa Park it is just too much money?

General,
Any idea if/when the big screen will be returning to Villa Park? I sit in the Trinity Block B, and can't see the Holte End screen. To be honest it's removal has annoyed many Villa fans who enjoyed the screen only for it being removed without any explanation and replaced with an inferior product.
We need this back, General!
Thanks.

General,

not sure if you would have seen the game tonight between Spurs and Inter Milan in the Champions League but Spurs destroyed them playing football I haven't seen the like of at Villa Park for years. 18 months ago we were ahead if Spurs and yet tonight they look light years away from us.

Please tell me Randy still has the desire and ability to support GH in gettingthe types of players we need to get to this level.

General, just wondering if you know why we have received less than the 15% of capacity that we’re entitled to under competition rules for the game at St Andrews. Is this due to the police or have the ticket office decided to go with less?

Hi General,

I'd also like to know the answer to Ads question above please.

But more importantly I'd like to know the following:

How can it be that someone who travels 1000's miles following villa season after season misses out on a ticket for this game against blues which at the end of the day is an AWAY GAME, yet someone who fancied a couple of cheap tickets for VP in half term week can easily snap up any remaining tickets???

I'd love to know the answer to this General so if you're unable to answer I'd appreciate you putting me in touch with the people behind this decision. They've got it horribly wrong in my opinion.

Thanks,

I have to agree with the above General. The two cup games were only £10 each. It costs a small fortune to follow the lads away from home. The club have got this wrong i'm afraid.

General,

Randy has previously invested in hedge funds. I'm not sure where its at but he was also trying to go through the courts to redeem $40m that had got lost in a hedge fund. How has this affected the amount of money that Randy has made available to us as part of our budget?

Exactly. Tell me this, where is the loyalty to those fans who pay £48 for a ticket to the Sty year-in-year-out?? Cause I bet half of those people didn't attend BOTH CC matches.

Nope that's right the club would rather help out the Johnny-come-lately's who fancied taking down there young nipper for a one off £10 match!

The loyalty is to those who go to most games  , they've got it spot on in  my opinion.
